We’re working to keep you apprised of your local electric utility. This episode of The Mayor’s Table is a follow-up to Farmington Electric Utility System’s February 10 announcement about an increase in the power cost adjustment.
FEUS director Hank Adair joins Mayor Duckett to provide insight into the current energy situation including:
-Factors that affect the PCA
-The cost to generate power vs. purchasing power from the grid
-Percentage of power FEUS currently has to purchase from the grid
They’re also discussing FEUS’ Integrated Resource Plan and their strategy for keeping electric rates low for their customers.
